This newly married couple was ready for a “grown-up” home in a hip, up-and-coming neighborhood. With a well-designed floor plan, the home’s layout includes a hosting space on the left and a private primary suite on the right. A laundry room is conveniently located for accessibility, and an oversized walk-in closet was created for her styling needs, allowing her to run her stylist business from home.
The home design is primarily neutral, with moments of color incorporated to enhance the sophisticated aesthetic. The design opted for mostly white cabinetry, ensuring a classic and timeless feel. Yet, the home required the ideal balance between the couple’s color preferences. We opted for warm orange and pink tones with the occasional inclusion of blues. The inspiration for these hues was an existing art piece that incorporated elements of these colors and tied the space together.
