In collaboration with MDS Remodeling, the O’Hara Interiors design team gave new life to the first floor of this Mediterranean-style home in Minneapolis. The home’s incredible location and architecture were a source of inspiration for the team, which resulted in furnishings and flooring that reference the house’s unique character.
This transformative first-floor remodel created designated hosting, entertaining, and dining spaces through curated furnishings and styling. But the biggest change was in the kitchen, where the layout was reconfigured from an L-shaped counter to an island with built-in appliances and storage. This enhanced the kitchen’s flow, better connecting it to the adjoining spaces and adding more storage for kitchen essentials.
